Griffin

Eagle's head and wings with a lion's body, it is said to be the kings of all beasts on land and sky. Griffins mated for life and would continue living their lives only with one partner. These majestic creatures also signify courage and boldness.

They are known for guarding treasure and symboled of divine power. Aren't they beautiful?

Hydra and Cancer

Hydra was said to be raised by Hera to kill Heracles (Hercules). It is a water beast with poisonous breath and each head being cut off will grew two more. Nevertheless, it was the one being killed by Heracles and was placed under a great rock. The only thing that could stops its head from growing more is to burn its neck with its own blood after cutting it.

Hera was upset about Hydra's defeated, so as the Giant Crab sent to disturb Heracles. She turned both Hydra and the Giant Crab into Constellation namely Hydra and Cancer.

Vampires

Vampires are known to be monsters that drain blood from human beings. They are immortal and would live forever. The novels such as Twilight have describe a vampire's characteristic however, they are not what it seems during ancient time. Dracula is also said to be a Vampire.

Vampires are all human beings to begin with but dead or transformed by another vampires through blood infection. They are very conscious and would escape from any threat especially holy objects such as silver, water and sunlight. They will be dead again once their hearts are pierced or neck is broken.

The ancient believe them to be real but they could be an excuse for murdering in olden days.

Merman and Mermaid

Merman (Male) and Mermaid (Female) are mythological creatures that was said to live within the sea. They possess the power to summon deathly storm that able to sink a ship and beautiful voices that able to seduce human beings.

These creatures are extremely playful but dangerous. They are curious and always interested to bring human down into sea to play with them however, they do not know that human cannot breath underwater like them.

Although they were only a myth, but ancient people throughout the world believe them to be real. Possibly, they had became the theory for why Tsumani occurs.

Snow Women (Yuki Onna)

Snow women is one of the many famous spirits in Japan. She is evil but extremely beautiful and able to transform into mist or snow when threatened.

In many stories, Snow women appears among travelers that were trapped in snowstorms, and uses her icy breath to frost the innocents. Sometimes, she leads them astray so that they simply die of exposure. She just find it pleasure to see man dies.

However, Snow Women finally disappear as she melted into snow when her lovely husband, Minokichi told her about the story of how he met a Snow Women and later she revealed herself as the Snow Women.

Incubus and Succubus

Incubus (male) and Succubus (female) are mythological demons that said to be taking up a human form to seduce real human for sexual intercourse. They are very attractive although they were evil beings that hunt human simply for pleasure.

Incubus are outnumber compared to Succubus and both of them drain souls by having sex and give birth to a semi-human offspring, called Cambion.

Perhaps, these creatures are just another excuse for prostitution in the olden day whereby people can be easily fooled and superstitious against those that they do not understand. Possibly for those who want to escape damnation, they created these creatures.
